Chinese Community Response to Family Violence (CCRFV) provides support to family violence victims of the Chinese community and their family to regain safety and re-establish life.
Services:
- To provide services and support to individuals/family members who experience multiple barriers; we provide emotional support and interpretation, assist victims meet with their lawyer, police and attend court, meet identified needs, such as housing, financial, etc.
- To promote awareness and raise knowledge of family violence and available resources to empower victims to end the violence they experience whereas bystander may support their friend to get help
- To promote cultural considerations/competency to mainstream service providers when working with diverse ethno cultural individuals/ families impacted by family violence
This is a program for those in the Chinese community of all ages and their families impacted by domestic violence.
Call for intake and assessment. Self referrals are accepted.
